What this covers
This policy explains how The Fiber Kitchen storefront and installable recipe apps handle information in the current release.
Payments
Stripe processes purchases. Payment card details are submitted to Stripe and are not stored in the Fiber Kitchen app files. Stripe may process information according to its own privacy policy.
Purchase access
After a successful purchase is verified with Stripe, the site places a signed, secure, HttpOnly access cookie in the purchasing browser. This cookie identifies which Fiber Kitchen apps that browser may open. It does not contain payment card information.
On-device app information
The recipe apps use browser local storage for features such as favorites, checkoffs and progress. The Fiber Goal Companion’s digestion and comfort check-in remains on the user’s device in the current implementation. The current apps do not create medical records and do not send that check-in to The Fiber Kitchen.
Offline use
Service workers and browser cache storage save required app files after a successful online load so core recipe content can be available offline. A user can clear this stored information through browser or device settings.
General wellness information
The products provide recipes and general wellness information. They do not provide diagnosis, individualized medical advice or treatment, and they do not create a patient relationship.
